Winter 2015 Virtual STEM Camp

Byron Academy’s first Virtual Winter Camp is partnering with outstanding non-profit and STEM organizations to provide students with access to real-life mentors, problem-solving and academic skills. This interactive, 5-day camp will take place online, where students will learn the following concepts:
  • The field of technology
  • Basic HTML coding
  • Basic graphic design
  • Introduction to hosting a website
  • Website design

In addition to the class, students will interact with industry leading guest speakers and mentors in the STEM field to find out how they use coding, website design, 3D-Printers, and other skills in their every-day lives.
 
This course is designed for students in grades 9-12. No prior coding or website design experience in necessary, just your natural curiosity and the desire to learn something new!
 
Cost
$319 per student
Early Bird Special Discount of 10% will be applied to all students who register before Nov. 23, 2015, 5:00pm EST.
