| Bio description: | I have 20 plus years of education experience as a science teacher. I have a B.S. degree in Earth and Space Science. As a certified science teacher in Texas I am certified to teach middle school and high school science. I have experience teaching the following subjects; 6th 7th & 8th grade science, Earth and Space Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, IPC, and Environmental Systems. In addition I have tutored hundreds of students for the last 10 years before and after school to prepare them for Texas EOC exams. I also tutor evenings at a woman's homeless shelter, for students k-12 who need help with math science and language arts. I have experience in remote learning and I am skilled at providing engaging lessons using a variety of learning platforms. I throughly enjoy working with students one-on-one and in small groups and I have been successful in advancing student achievement with a diverse student population.
